幼稚化
「折られても捨てられても…大根のど根性ここにあり」…という記事には呆れました。「市は29日、このダイコンをデザインした「光る記念石」を同じ場所に埋めた」…という話。「困った時、悩んだ時は記念石でダイコンの生きる力を思い出して」との市長の談話には、バカバカしさを覚えます。そりゃ人間、誰しも人生の中で困ることはあるでしょう。でも、何かに困った時に、なぜ「アスファルトから生えた大根」なんてものを思い出さなきゃいけないんだ？ 税金遣って記念碑なんか作るようなものか？
だいたいからして、この大根、発見された当時からあらゆるマスコミで取り上げられていました。現象として珍しいから記事になる…それならそれでいいんですけど、当時の記事にもあるように、「元気をもらった」という声がもう全国から寄せられている。まあ、私は以前から何度も書いているように「元気をもらう」というバカみたいで幼稚な表現が大嫌いなんですが、それ以前に、いい年した大人がこんな大根程度のものを見て元気になったり、勇気付けられたりすること自体が「ヘン」です。
なんか、日本中で「幼稚化」が信仰し続けています。つまらないことで、やたらと「感動した」だの「癒された」だのとコメントする人間が溢れ、本当に感動したり心に刻み付けたりすべき人間の営為や芸術などは、誰も理解できなくなりつつあるような気がします。
ところで、私は毎朝の出勤前、8時40分頃までは各チャンネルの朝のワイドショーを見てます。ここ数日は、例の強度計算偽造マンションの話題ばかりでしたが、今日はどこも民主党議員西村真悟の逮捕の件ばかりを大きく取り上げていました。いや、バカな政治家について憤ることほど「虚しい」ことはありません。議会制民主主義国家である日本で、そんなバカを選んだのは私たち自身であるわけですから。
私は、西村真悟なる議員については、2つの活動で認知していました。１つはバイク高速道路二人乗り禁止規制解除の法案を出した議員としてです。私は、このバイク高速道路二人乗り禁止規制解除問題について、20年以上前に関わったことがあり、それで西村真悟という議員に注目していました。もう1つの活動とは、言うまでもなく「民族派」を自称する部分です。
それにしても、「依頼者に高額な保険料を取るためと手術を強要したり、法外な成功報酬を要求する」、右翼というかチンピラの交通事故示談屋と組んで金を稼いでいたのには驚きます。さらにこちらの記事によれば、この示談屋は「保険金額の30～50％を依頼人に請求」していたそうで、「1998～2004年に、鈴木容疑者が扱った交通事故の保険金受け取り総額は約10億円に上る」というのだからとんでもない話です。
で、今回の事件があって、初めて彼のホームページを見てみました。まあ、自伝漫画などもあって賑やかなサイトなんですが、要するに民族派的な主張で埋まっています。
主義主張の是非はともかく、彼のサイトに上げられているたくさんの文を読んでいて、1つのことに気が付きました。彼の主張には、「正義」とか「倫理」とかいう言葉がやたらと出てくるのです。例えば加藤紘一氏の汚職問題に触れた文「本日、法務委員会で検察の倫理について糺した」では、「政治家はもちろん、法律家も、職業倫理を自覚しなければ、腐敗を止めることはできない」…と書かれています。「国会というところのルーティーンワーク」という文では、「近代国家は職業倫理と職業的使命感によって成り立ってきた。この原点を忘れて市民参加礼賛は危険である」…と書かれています。「領土と国民」という文では、橋本内閣時代の対露外交に触れて「…橋本総理は、ソビエト崩壊後の最大のチャンスに、北方領土において『線引き』の提案をし、『領土における法と正義』をどぶに棄てた…」と書いています。「暴支という言葉が実感を込めて甦った」では、中国における反日暴動に対しての賠償請求が「法と正義」に基づくものである…としています。中国は「法と正義」がない国なんだそうです。
いや、笑わせてくれました。いたるところに正義と倫理が出てきます。しかし、西村真悟の今回の行動は、法の番人の立場の一端を担うべき弁護士でありながら、法を守るという概念がまったく欠如していることを示しています。「職業的倫理観」や「正義感」なんて、これっぽちもない人間の行動です。 こういう下賎なヤツに限って、「倫理」だの「法と正義」だのを連発して偉そうに語る…ってところが笑えます。
いずれにしても、こんなヤツから「軍務に服することは国民の奉仕」なんて言われたくはありません。
